Man arrested in Chunchura for molesting 4-year-old girl

• Gopal Patra, a fifty-year-old neighbor, was arrested for allegedly molesting a four-year-old girl in Mearber, Chunchura. 
• The incident occurred on December 26 when Patra took the minor to his home on a bicycle and showed her obscene pictures
• According to the victim's family, complaint was made against Gopal earlier as well 

In Mearber area of Chunchura, police have arrested a fifty-year-old man, Gopal Patra, accused of molesting a four-year-old girl. The incident occured on Tuesday, December 26, when Gopal Patra allegedly took the minor neighbor to his home on a bicycle. He then reportedly showed obscene pictures to the child, who later disclosed the incident to her family.

When the minor's family confronted Gopal Patra at his house, he was found to be absconding. Upon his return the next morning, enraged local residents, along with the minor's family, attacked him. Chunchura police has arrested him and took him to Imambara Sadar Hospital for treatment. According to family sources, this complaint was made against Gopal earlier as well.
